Currently have a $100 rebate on tire rack, which makes the set over $200 cheaper than my usual continental DWS. Annnnd I just got new wheels. Just curious on how good this tire perform.

I know they are a summer tire, I’ll probably keep my stock wheels with all seasons and run them in the winter.

The SL600 Sport runs Ventus V12 Evos, and they are fantastic tires in spring/summer/fall. They have great wet weather traction and while theyre no Pilot Super Sports, I intend on getting the Evo 2 tires when its time to put on new tires because Im so satisfied with the Evos.

I’ve heard really good things on them

I personally do not like Contis though so I’m kinda biased.

I ran a set before upgrading to Pilot Super Sports. Awesome tires. Quiet. Decent lifespan. Good wet traction and excellent dry traction. Total shit for more serious driving, like autocross.

I know you're up in the New York area, how late into fall can you run them before they become unsafe? I'm down right outside DC.

About how many miles did you get out of them?

WHERE DID YOU FIND 219M’s!!?!?!??!?????!!!!

Seriously though I have been creeping on FS sections in every BMW forum I can find and the only ones I find are people not willing to ship.

I totally remember talking to you about splitting a set. Get this, I found this 1 front for sale on m3post about 20 minutes from me. $75 and it was mine.

Found a guy in Texas on E90post selling a set for $500, but 2 are scraped. Got the 2 rears for $200 shipped. One is flawless, one has some peeling paint. So for $275 I have a set of 3 219m’s and I for the life of me CAN NOT find 1 more front wheel.

I’ve had the older Evo’s for the past 20,000mi and have had no complaints. Great wet and dry grip, decently quiet, and pretty decent treadwear considering its rating and how I drive, all for much cheaper than its competitors. I’ll be getting the Evo2's as well once I need new tires, they’re basically all you need in a three-season tire unless you’re going to trackdays or something.

This looks like exactly what I want in a tire. I've read some people saying they don't do well in colder temperatures (like mid November), has that been the case for you?

Try Midwest wheel and tire supposedly they have the largest stock of used OEM wheels.

Thanks I'll check that out right now, would you want to buy the rears from me if I end up getting a squared set of fronts?

I’m trying to have a rub free, non-rolled fender fitment. Gonna try smaller tires than I’d like but they should work.

Yeah, once temps drop below about 45 the tires start to drop off, not significantly so, but enough that I’ll try to put my winters on in October (Indiana weather can be unpredictable so better safe than sorry). I’m sure if you were careful a bit lower temps would be manageable as well but like I said, you’re probably better off swapping before the cold weather really moves in.

Yeah, I’m ready to buy as I am fed up with the ride of the 19's (but I love how they look)

You’re in New York right? There’s a guy selling a set a set for like $1100 I think. I can dig the thread up if you want.

With tires too IIRC.

I've got the all season Ventus on the Infinti. Great tires so far. Hankook has been my tire of choice lately and haven't had any where or grip issues with any. I also love the look of the tread patter (not that it matters!).

2.5 seasons (spring/summer/fall) with a handful of autocross days, which really tore them apart.

December through February is the danger zone, but overall, theyre no go in the snow. As long as its dry, cold isnt bad, but you have to take it easy. Cold and wet is bad. Wet is fine in warmer months though.

As a rule of thumb, when the forecast starts dropping below 40 and snow comes up, swap them off.

Cool, let me know how it goes. I've been finding a few more sets for sale in your region so if that doesn't work I can find some more.

Nice!! Be sure to post pictures. My 2 rears shipped out today. Still looking for 1 more front but at least I have more time to figure out tire sizes and everything.

I have Ventus V12s don’t know if they’re EVO 2s. I love them and they’re a bargain for what they are.

A *$103 rebate which is #relevant because #marketing.
